Got a new ereader? No? Want to win paperback?

This Friday, December 30, 2011, is release day for my contemporary, music-themed M/M romance, “Blue Notes!”  Would you like to win a copy for your e-reader?  Or maybe a paperback to curl up with on a snowy day?  You still have time to enter two giveaways!  Plus there will be additional giveaways on release day.

Paperback Giveaway: I’m giving away a beautiful paperback copy of “Blue Notes” on Goodreads.  If you’ve ever seen Dreamspinner Press‘s paperbacks, you’ll understand what I mean.  It’s big, with a glossy cover (incredible art from Anne Cain), and beautifully printed! Paperback contest ends December 31st.

Ebook Giveaway:  Everyone who posts on my blog here on WordPress or on Goodreads will be entered into a contest to win an ebook (format of your choice) copy of the novel from Dreamspinner, delivered directly to your Dreamspinner shelf.

Release day giveaways include a gift-card to Amazon (so you can buy your own music!) and an MP3 download of my “Blue Notes” soundtrack, “My Favorite Brahms,” by Van Cliburn, from Amazon.com.  Check out my blog and Dreamspinner’s blog on December 30th for more details of how to enter to win those.

In the meantime, you can read an excerpt of Chapter One in its entirety on Dreamspinner’s website.  The excerpt is PG, although the book is 18+.  I hope you enjoy Jules and Jason’s story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Happy holidays and good luck with the contests! -Shira

    Hi,
I’m in love with the book already, and I’ve only read the excerpts! I’ve played the violin for twenty years now, so it’s so exciting to have a character musically inclined the same way. Good job on your work! I can’t wait ^^

A fellow violinist! I played for about 14 years, until I went to school to study opera. *grins* I’m so glad you enjoyed the excerpts and I hope you enjoy the book. There’s another book in the series, “Symphony,” which will feature a classical violinist, Alex Bishop (who makes a brief appearance in “Blue Notes”). He plays the fiddle the way I always wished I could (I was a much better singer than violinist!).

I’ve got you entered into the contests. Good luck! -S
