Hop Against Homophobia: Day Three!

Day three of the Hop Against Homophobia!  If you haven’t already, be sure to leave a comment with an email address where I can contact you if you win the prize (your choice of one of my Dreamspinner Press titles, including the upcoming “The Trust“).

Today, I’m going to let a visual artist do the talking for me.  My favorite ever cartoon in support of gay marriage – it makes me hopping mad when I think about how true it is!  Share it everywhere, and maybe someone will think about the stupidity of the arguments that gay marriage somehow does anything to hetero marriage! -Shira

Yay, David Horsey! I’m from Seattle, too, so the attitudes in my current home state of GA are a little shocking. I just tell myself that if they had put ALL civil rights to a popular vote, we’d still have separate drinking fountains here.

I just have to believe that it will get better eventually. I think the repeal of DADT will have far-reaching repercussions — some of the most strident homophobes are the same ones shouting, “Support Our Troops!” That means supporting the gay ones, too, right?!? 🙂

Your comic just proves how ridiculous some peoples thoughts are and puts everything into perspective, perfect, thank you.

I just wanted to say “Thank You” also to you and to everyone for letting me be included in your Hop Against Homophobia. I am afraid I am not a talented m/m fiction writer like yourself but I am an avid reader of it.

Actually when you are a straight girl who writes gay porn for an adult studio it is hard to fit in anywhere so I really appreciated how warmly I was welcomed into your group.

But this is a cause I feel strongly about and I wanted to let you know I appreciate the opportunity to be included.
