Goodreads members, there’s also a giveaway for a paperback copy of Prelude (Blue Notes #4) up for grabs that ends on release day for Encore.

I’m just about done planning the Encore blog tour, which will actually be a joint tour with the Blue Notes holiday novella, Symphony in Blue (release date December 25th, Christmas Day!).  Symphony will be my 10th Dreamspinner Press release!  Hard for me to believe, really.  To celebrate my 10th DSP release and the releases of both of these Blue Notes Series books, I’ll be running a very special blog tour giveaway, including a Kindle with the first four Blue Notes books loaded on it, as well as some of my other Dreamspinner Press releases.  Also up for grabs will be a gorgeous, music-themed sterling silver necklace, and cool Blue Notes swag.  More about that giveaway coming soon.  Promise!

In the meantime, here are the two Blue Notes giveaways going on right now:

Blurb: A Blue Notes Novel

Cool kid violinist Roger Nelson doesn’t give a damn about anything. Wannabe conductor John Fuchs is awkward, effeminate, and just figuring out he’s gay. Despite their differences, they become friends—then lovers—and after college, they try to make it work. But it’s the 1970s, and Roger can’t bring himself to admit he’s gay. Worse, after his brother is killed in Vietnam, Roger tries to live up to his memory and be the perfect son. Then after suffering one tragedy too many, he makes the biggest mistake of his life: Roger pushes John away.

Through the years, they dance around the truth and in and out of each other’s lives, never quite able to let go. Twenty years later, Roger still carries the pain of losing his dream of a brilliant career with him, while John is a superstar conductor with a wild reputation. John’s off-stage antics get him plenty of attention, good and bad, though deep down, he wants only Roger. Finally determined to hold on to what really matters, Roger asks John for another chance, and when John panics and runs, Roger has to convince him to listen to his heart.

Note: Blue Notes Series novels are standalone books that can be read in any order.

Btw – I already have the first books in ebook format, so don’t need to be added to the draw. 🙂

I hate the most about Fall is that I know the snow will be coming! I live in Canada so our winters are brutal…lol

I hate that we really don’t have much of a fall in Florida! The high was 81 today!

I love the smell! Fall always has a distinct smell and I just can’t get enough. Here in Texas, there isn’t a lot of weather change, but having it even a little cooler is SO nice.

I was walking at the lake last night and that’s what I noticed the most: the smell of the leaves. Just wonderful! -S

I love fall! Mostly I just love the fact that summer and the suffocating heat is *supposed to be* gone. Although it’s in the 80’s here this week, bleh. But I also love all the yummy baking and delicious smells. And the colors. I’m definitely an earthy-toned kind of person, lol.

I haven’t read any of the Blue Notes series…not enough time to get everything done…but I love the fact that they are set in the music world and they are all on my TBR list. Thanks for the giveaway, Shira!

    I Love Fall!!

It’s the colors of the leaves as they fall.
It’s the air turning crisp and cool.
    The smell in the air.

    LOVE IT!!
