“Lighting the Way Home” – Cover Reveal!

Happy Friday ya’ll!  And what a wonderful way to finish out the week.  Check out this amazing cover for my upcoming Dreamspinner Press release, “Lighting the Way Home.”  Just looking at it makes me smile (I absolutely adore the father/son vibe in this one, and blue is my favorite color).  Cover is by the incomparable L.C. Chase.

“Lighting the Way Home” is set for a March release (exact date to come soon) and is co-written with my good friend E.M. Lynley.  “Lighting” is part of E.M.’s “Delectable” series of gay contemporary stories set in the food and drink industry.

The first book “Brand New Flavor,” was released by Dreamspinner Press a few months ago.  That book is a sweet and sexy take on artisan ice cream makers (well, one in particular).  It’s got a Cinderella vibe to it and a sweet (pun intended) HEA.

“Lighting the Way Home” is the story of chef Josh Golden, who returns from Paris to help his parents run their NYC restaurant while his mother recovers from surgery. The last person Josh expects to find living in his parents’ house is Micah Solomon, the man who broke Josh’s heart ten years before. Will Josh finally realize that sometimes the best things in life are found much closer to home?

Stay tuned for never before seen excerpts from the novel, as well as posts about the food industry, recipes, and lots of other fun stuff.  “Lighting the Way Home” is a feel good story about coming home, family, and friendship.  Oh, and romance.  Lots of it, spicy and sweet (I could go on and on with food double-entendres!).

While you’re waiting for more on Josh and Micah, be sure to enter the giveaway for two free paperback copies of my latest Dreamspinner Press release, “Aria’ (Blue Notes #3), on Goodreads.  Contest ends at midnight on March 2nd!  So stay warm, cuddle up with a good book (or in my case, Kindle), and have a wonderful weekend!  -Shira
