Happy Friday! Heads up – Dreamspinner Press has all contemporary romances on sale for 35% off list for a limited time. That means all the Blue Notes Series books are $4.54 or less in ebook format! Definitely time to stock up (I’m heading over there to fill my Kindle up with goodies for end of summer reading).
I’m just about to finish up a draft of First Comes Marriage, a sweet contemporary romance about a marriage of convenience between a struggling novelist and a billionaire. Here’s my working blurb:
When New York City’s most eligible straight bachelor, Jesse Donovan, asks struggling novelist Chris Valentine if he’ll marry him so he can inherit under his grandfather’s will, Chris’s answer is a resounding no. But Jesse is charming, persuasive, and doesn’t give up easily. Chris soon relents and the two are married. But if the way Jesse kisses him is any indication, Jesse isn’t as straight as he would have people believe, and Chris realizes he’s going to have a hard time keeping his distance. When a challenge to the will by Jesse’s step-grandmother ends up surprising them all, Chris must decide whether to stay by Jesse’s side or give up the man he loves forever.
Look for First Comes Marriage in early 2016, along with Blood and Eternity, the final installment in the Blood Series. A Solitary Man, a sexy hot contemporary cop/lawyer drama set at the North Carolina coast in the heat of summer is coming this November. I’ve got plenty more in the works, both contemporary and fantasy, which I’ll be shouting about this fall.
Enjoy the last gasp of summer. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for cooler weather! Stay cool! -Shira
